WELCOME TO WORD OF LIFE CHRISTIAN CENTER!
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?
Relevant teaching and contemporary worship is part of each and every service at Word of Life. As our name implies, there is always a life-transforming message from the word of God, and we offer a variety of ways for people of all ages to get involved. Our services are typically 75 minutes long and feature compelling messages that speak to adults on every level.
Our services are Sundays, 9 am and 11 am, held at the Rochester Athletic Club. Upon entrance to the parking lot, you may park in the far right (NW corner) lot next to the building entrance for the church service facility. The door will be clearly marked for Word of Life and to the right of the main entrance. If you have children, please check out the directions below for Word of Life Kid's Club sign in.
WHAT ARE THE PEOPLE LIKE?
People who attend WOLCC are from a variety of backgrounds. Some of us are from Methodist and Luthern backgrounds, while others are from Catholic, Baptist or non-churched backgrounds. We have teachers, nurses, architects, carpenters, doctors, bankers, business owners and every other area of the employment community. You will find people like yourself who want to grow in their relationship with God.
WHAT DO YOU HAVE FOR KIDS?
At Word of Life Kid's Club, kids are encouraged and equipped to build a life-long relationship with Jesus as their personal Lord and Friend! We offer Sunday morning programs during the regular church service for children ages 6 months to 12 years. Use the main entrance of the building and walk straight back, past the restaurant to the Kids' Club and Superkids area to check your kids in. If it is your first time, we recommend arriving 15 to 20 minutes early to get your kids signed in.
Word of Life has a family fun night at "The Neighborhood" available to everyone of all ages in the church every few months. This is a wonderful time for us to get to know each other better as a church family and enjoy food, fellowship, and lots of fun.
WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
Our Sunday services are held at the Rochester Athletic Club, 3100 19th Street NW, Rochester, MN 55901. Situated just west of Highway 52, exit 19th Street, turn west on 19th, drive approximately 1 mile and you will see the Club on the left. You will find us easy to access from wherever you call home.
HOW DO I GET INVOLVED?
Word of Life believes in creating a sense of community, which is why we provide a variety of ways for people to get involved. There are many volunteer opportunities available for those who would like to take part. Contact us through email or phone and we will help you find a great place for you to utilize your gifts and talents.
